🦸‍♂️ James Gunn has teased a big villain for Man of Tomorrow — and the comics give us a terrifying, press-friendly blueprint: Brainiac disables Superman, the government turns to Lex, Lex suits up and takes the public win, gets pardoned, then runs for political power. In this video I show the comics that line up with that arc — including Geoff Johns’ Action Comics Brainiac arc, the modern House of Brainiac crossover, and Lex’s warsuit origin — and I map those beats onto what we’ve seen in Peacemaker and Gunn’s comments.
