WONDER MAN | TRAILER REACTION | MARVEL TELEVISION | THE TRUTH ABOUT POWER AND FAME!

WONDER MAN | TRAILER REACTION | MARVEL TELEVISION | THE TRUTH ABOUT POWER AND FAME!

Marvel Television just dropped the official trailer for Wonder Man — and this might be one of the most surprising and self-aware MCU projects yet.

This is my live trailer reaction to Wonder Man, starring Yahya Abdul‑Mateen II as Simon Williams and Ben Kingsley returning as Trevor Slattery. From the jump, the tone is comedic, meta, and sharply aware of superhero fame, performance culture, and Marvel’s place in pop culture.

In this video, I break down:
• First reactions to the Wonder Man trailer
• The comedic tone and why it actually works
• Simon Williams already having powers (a huge reveal)
• Trevor Slattery’s return and MCU continuity callbacks
• Damage Control as a potential main antagonist
• The show’s commentary on fame, performance, and superhero identity
• How Wonder Man’s comic history informs this adaptation (NO SPOILERS)

I also talk through Simon Williams’ comic origins, his insane power set, and why choosing this character for a Disney+ series might be one of Marvel’s smartest moves in years.

⚠️ Copyright note: If you’re watching the replay and don’t see trailer footage, it may have been removed due to copyright restrictions. Watch the trailer separately and come back for the full reaction and analysis.

📺 Wonder Man premieres January 27 on Disney+, with eight episodes.
