Where Does the Rainbow End #1| Comic Review | A Beautiful Sci-Fi Fairy Tale | Mad Cave Studios

Where Does the Rainbow End #1 from Mad Cave Studios is a beautiful, haunting sci-fi fairy tale that quietly builds tension beneath its gentle exterior.

In this review, I break down the story of Gilda, a young girl raised by robots in the Rainbow Sector after being abandoned in a massive robot dump. Sheltered from the outside world—and from the dangerous robots of the Dark Cage—Gilda’s peaceful life begins to unravel when her unique ability to fix robots attracts the wrong kind of attention.

Written by Francesca Perillo and illustrated by Stefano Cardoselli, this first issue blends warmth, innocence, and creeping dread, supported by outstanding art and ingenious robot designs. It’s a story about found family, protection, and the cost of kindness in a hostile world.

If you enjoy indie comics, sci-fi with heart, fairy-tale storytelling, or character-driven narratives, this is a must-read.

James Tynion IV’s Exquisite Corpses & Room Service Become Horror Movies | Comic to Film News

James Tynion IV is expanding his horror empire beyond comics and into film.

According to Deadline, Tynion’s production company Tiny Onion and Lyrical Media are developing two new horror films based on his work: Exquisite Corpses and Room Service. In this video, we break down what these projects are, why they matter, and how they fit into the growing wave of comic book–to–film adaptations.

Exquisite Corpses, the bestselling Image Comics horror series, has already sold over 500,000 copies and is being positioned as a major franchise with potential across movies, animation, and video games. Room Service, a psychological horror concept centered around a sinister hotel service that enables murder fantasies, is also being developed as a feature film with Tynion co-writing the script.

We also look at how this announcement connects to Tynion’s other upcoming adaptations, including Something Is Killing the Children at Blumhouse, W0rldtr33 at Netflix, and Tiny Onion’s growing animation slate.
